- GPX viewer (carecom.de) — drop in a GPX file and see the track on the map, right in the browser.
- EBNF lab (carecom.de) — tinker with our attributed EBNF parser: write a grammar, parse some input, watch the parser think. A little idea from my student days, rebuilt — and open to members.
- Tours as PDF & GPX (bestes-wetter.de) — download whole tours as a clean PDF report and as one combined GPX, for offline hiking or to retrace.
- Models as a .scad bundle (3d-playground.de) — download a whole post as a .scad bundle: all the OpenSCAD files at once, ready to build on.

One membership — valid everywhere
Here's the real point: you join once and you're in across the whole network. No three separate accounts, no duplicate sign-ups, no "register again" per site. Whoever joined on carecom.de is a member on bestes-wetter.de and 3d-playground.de just the same — with the same benefits.
On every club page you see the whole network at a glance: which benefits exist where, and what's already unlocked. The site you're currently on is highlighted — the rest of the network sits right beside it.
For the curious: how it works under the hood
CARECOM.united is built as a hub-and-spoke network. At its heart is a central member store — a standalone database that doesn't belong to any single site, but to the whole network. carecom.de currently serves this hub technically; bestes-wetter.de and 3d-playground.de are connected to it. So your membership doesn't live "on carecom.de", but in a shared place that is independent of the individual sites.
Writes go through a reliable message lane. Joining, leaving, profile or consent changes aren't handled by a direct shout between sites, but sent to the hub as durable, idempotent messages. Meaning: an action arrives exactly once, even if something hiccups along the way — no duplicate emails, no half-finished states.
Reads are fast and resilient. Each site can check on its own whether you're a member: at the hub directly in-process, from the other sites via a slim, secured query — briefly cached so it stays snappy. If the hub is ever down, confirmed members fall back to a "last known good" status instead of being locked out.
Privacy is built in, not bolted on. Your email address never appears in a URL; it travels only in the secure body of the request. Consents (marketing emails, analytics) are toggled separately and logged cleanly with a timestamp. Leaving is "soft" — your data stays, and you can come back any time. Want it final? We delete it completely and irreversibly, in line with the GDPR.
